We have been waiting for this since 2016 but yesterday we finally received confirmation that Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission will inspect the health, social care and education services for children and young people with SEND in Buckinghamshire between Monday 7th March and Friday 11th March.
The main aim of the inspection is to evaluate how effectively Buckinghamshire Council, the local NHS and local schools:
• identify the needs of children and young people with SEND
• meet the needs of these children and young people so that their outcomes and chances of participating fully in society improve.”
The Inspectors will meet with key officers and others on Monday and Tuesday to discuss themes picked by the Inspectors and then they will visit settings, schools and colleges on Wednesday and Thursday.
